At CareFlowNote, we know that CNAs, PTs, and OTs handle sensitive patient information every day. That’s why we built our platform with industry-leading security standards to help protect your data while making documentation easy.

  • Secure Hosting: Our platform runs on HIPAA-grade cloud infrastructure.

  • Access Controls: Only authorized users can view or edit documentation.

⚠️ Important Compliance Note

CareFlowNote is HIPAA-safe but not a certified HIPAA-compliant platform at the moment.
We do not sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs).
Our platform is designed to support secure documentation, but compliance depends on how it is used by your organization.

While we provide secure tools, users are responsible for:

  • Following their organization’s HIPAA policies

  • Ensuring proper handling of patient data

Data Retention

For our MVP:

  • We retain user data only as long as necessary to provide our services

  • Users may request deletion of their data at any time by emailing support@careflownote.com

  • No PHI is required to test the MVP. If entered, it is treated as temporary data and may be deleted after account cancellation.
